BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis team went 1-1 over the weekend with a win over Seattle University Saturday in Bozeman, Montana.
 
The Golden Eagles claimed their first match of the weekend against Seattle, 5-2. ORU got off to a great start by winning all three doubles matches to claim the team point. Oleksandra Nahurska and Luna Morini won 6-4 at No. 1. Zere Iskakova and Rai Sengupta claimed a 7-6 victory at No. 2 and Reagan Miley and Aliksandra Lebedeva won 6-2 at No. 3.
 
ORU claimed four points in single play with Nahurska winning by retirement. Sengupta only allowed one set points in set two after playing a shutout, 6-0, in set one. She then won in set two, 6-1. Miley won set one of her No. 4 match, 7-6, followed by a 6-1 victory in set two. Morini was the fourth Golden Eagle to claim a singles point with a 6-2, 6-3 win.

In Sunday's match against Montana State, ORU fell just short falling 4-3 to the Bobcats. The Golden Eagles split singles action, 3-3, but lost the doubles point.
 
Nahurska improved to 3-0 in singles action winning 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 1 position. Lebedeva won her first singles match of the season with a 6-4, 6-4 victory at the No. 2 spot. Miley was the third Golden Eagle to win, 6-3, 6-4, at the No. 4 slot.
