TULSA, Okla. – On Monday evening, the Oral Roberts women's basketball team will take the hardwood in the Mile High City for a Monday matchup with Denver – Just their second chance to play since December 22. Monday's game was rescheduled from December 30 after issues with the COVID-19 pandemic arose within the Denver program.

About the Opponent
  • Denver dropped a pair of close road games over the weekend. The Pioneers fell to North Dakota State 74-68 in Fargo and North Dakota 80-75 in Grand Forks.
  • The Pioneers are still looking to pick up their first conference win of 2021-22, currently sitting at 0-4 in league play. Monday's contest will be Denver's first home game since the conference slate started.
  • On December 10, Denver won a four overtime thriller against Butler in Hinkle Fieldhouse. Five Pioneers scored in double-figures as Denver prevailed 100-94 over the Bulldogs.
  • The Pioneers are an outstanding shot blocking team, currently ranking eighth in the nation with 85 blocks this season.
  • Denver also shoots more three-pointers than anybody in the Summit League, attempting 382 triples this season.

  • On New Year's Day, the Golden Eagles snapped a nine-game Summit League slide that dates back to February 6, 2021.
  • Both of ORU's weekend games were postponed due to COVID-19 issues within opponent programs. Neither game has been rescheduled yet.
  • Keni Jo Lippe has hit 492 career free throws. Only four active players in NCAA Division I have made 500 or more free throws.
  • Lippe also ranks 22nd nationally, sinking 90.0% of her free throws this season.
  • Tirzah Moore was named the Reaching The Summit podcast's Freshman of the Year (so far) earlier this week. Moore is averaging 16.3 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game in Summit League play.
  • A win would be the third consecutive victory away from the Mabee Center, dating back to December 15.
