• The Golden Eagles enter Thursday's contest looking to snap a two-game skid after dropping matches to North Dakota State and North Dakota last week.Â
• Inside the Cooper Aerobics Center, ORU is riding a two-match win streak after recording wins over Kansas City and St. Thomas in their previous homestand.
• At the net,Â
Sakira LaCour continues to be one of the top blockers in the country as the senior entered the week ranked second in the Summit League and 14th nationally in total blocks with 81. LaCour also currently sits tied for 10th all-time in program history with 307 total blocks.

Trinity Freeman continues to lead the offensive attack for the Golden Eagles as the sophomore has downed a team-best 191 kills, which ranks 10th in the Summit League.
• Outside hitter
Kaia Dunford leads ORU in double-doubles with seven and has totaled four in the team's last seven contests. The junior also ranks first among the Golden Eagles in total digs with 186 and has also tallied 156 kills.
• As a team, ORU entered the week as the Summit League leader in digs per set (15.9) and attacks per set (37.1). Nationally, the Golden Eagles rank 13th in attacks per set and 28th in digs per set.
• The Golden Eagles are coming off their best season since 2016 after recording an 18-11 mark in 2021.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish fourth, garnering 53 votes. Middle blocker LaCour and outside hitter Freeman were selected as the Preseason Players to Watch for the Golden Eagles as voted on by the league's 10 head coaches. In 2021, LaCour was a First Team All-Summit League performer, while Freeman was named to the All-Freshman Team.Â
