TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team will host Ozark Christian Tuesday, November 29 for Native American Heritage Night at the Mabee Center at 7 p.m.
Tuesday night's game is Nike N7 Native American Heritage Night. Fans with valid Native American IDs can receive free admission. Fans can also purchase single game tickets for $4 each online at www.mabeecenter.com.

Max Abmas was named preseason Summit League Player of the Year and to the league's preseason First Team. Abmas earned a spot on the Naismith Player of the Year Watch List and the NABC Preseason Player of the Year Watch List as well as on the 2023 Bob Cousy Award Watch List and Wooden Top 50. All for the second-straight season.

• For the first time since 2011-12, the Golden Eagles were picked No. 1 in the Summit League preseason rankings. ORU also sits at No. 16 in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll.

• Abmas continues where he left off last season averaging 15.9 points per game. Three other Golden Eagles average double-digits with Issac McBride, Kareem Thompson and Connor Vanover. McBride and Vanover are shooting 13.3 points and Thompson averages 10.3 points.

• Vanover has totaled 28 blocks through seven games. He currently is second in the nation in total blocks and in blocks per game (4.0). As a team, ORU is 8th in the nation in blocks.

• ORU is hitting 11.0 triples per game, which puts the team 10th in the nation. The Golden Eagles have totaled 77 three-point buckets this season to lead the Summit League.

• On the glass, ORU leads the Summit League in defensive rebounds per game (28.0).

• This will be the first-ever meeting between Ozark Christian and Oral Roberts.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Ambassadors are 2-0 on the season. In its previous game, OCC defeated Union College, 92-83, on the road in Lincoln, Nebraska.

• Five OCC players are averaging double-figures with Tyler Alarid leading the way with 22.5 ppg. Aason Cross and Joel Pugh each score 12.5 ppg. Danny Foster is scoring 11 ppg followed by Josiah Beckenhauer with 10 ppg.

• The Ambassadors average 81.5 points per game and shoot 43.3 percent from the field and 34.9 from three-point range. Ozark Christian is out-rebounding its opponents by 10.5 rebounds per game. The team ranks No. 10 in the NCCAA in scoring offense and No. 3 in defense.
