TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team opens their 2022-23 campaign on the road at No. 15 Oklahoma Monday afternoon inside the Lloyd Noble Center. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m.

• Monday's season opener marks the start of a tough non-conference slate for the Golden Eagles, which features three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road games.
• Against Top 25 opponents, ORU is 6-62 all-time. The Golden Eagles last win over a ranked opponent came on the road at No. 12 Oklahoma on December 4, 2016.
• ORU was victorious in their two exhibition contests, defeating Oklahoma Christian, 90-63, Tuesday and Rogers State, 96-74, Friday. 
• Preseason All-Summit League First Team selection Tirzah Moore led ORU in the exhibitions as the sophomore registered double-doubles in both. 
• Sharpshooter Delaney Nix knocked down 11 three-pointers in the two exhibitions, while guard Hannah Cooper averaged 17 points per game. 
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• Entering her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 259-125 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.

• Monday's season opener marks the 36th meeting all-time and first since 2016 between ORU and Oklahoma.
• The Golden Eagles snapped an 18-game losing streak to the Sooners with a 74-64 road victory in their last meeting. Despite the win, Oklahoma leads the all-time series 21-14.
• In Norman, Oklahoma, ORU is 6-11 all-time.
• Oklahoma is coming off a 25-9 season, which saw them advance to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Sooners are led by the nation's highest-scoring trio in Madi Williams, Taylor Robertson and Ana Llanusa and were picked third in the Big 12 Preseason Poll.
