TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team opens Summit League play on the road Monday evening against the preseason favorites South Dakota State inside Frost Arena at 7 p.m.

• Hannah Cooper continues to pace the ORU offense as the senior is coming off her second 30-plus point performance of the season at Texas Tech. The El Paso, Texas, native's scoring increase of 13.8 points per game ranks third nationally.
• The senior currently leads the Summit League in assists (53), assists per game (4.8), free throws made (59), and total points (223). Nationally, Cooper ranks 13th in total points and in free throws made.
• Preseason All-Summit League First Team selection Tirzah Moore sits atop the Summit League in blocks per game (1.9) and double-doubles (5).
• Nationally, the sophomore sits 14th in rebounds per game (10.9), 16th in total rebounds (109) and 16th in double-doubles.
• Forward Makenna Winans is coming off her best scoring performance as a Golden Eagle as the junior poured in 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting at Texas Tech.
• ORU is coming off a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 262-133 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
