VERMILLION, S.D. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team remains on the road as they travel to face the reigning Summit League champions South Dakota Wednesday afternoon inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion, South Dakota. Tip-off for Wednesday's contest has been moved up to noon due to the anticipated arrival of Winter Storm Elliott.

• For the third straight game, Hannah Cooper led ORU in scoring as the senior finished with 25 points in a hard-fought loss on the road at South Dakota State Monday. The 20-plus point performance was the senior's sixth of the season and third straight. The El Paso, Texas, native's scoring increase of 14.2 points per game this season ranks third in the country.
• Cooper, the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, enters Wednesday's contest as the Summit League leader in assists (57), assists per game (4.8) and total points (248). Nationally, the senior sits seventh in free throws made (65), ninth in total points and 15th in points per game (20.7).
• Sharpshooter Delaney Nix currently leads the Summit League in three-pointers made with 26.
• Forward Makenna Winans made her first career start as a Golden Eagle in Monday's contest and pulled down a season-high and game-high nine rebounds.
• The Golden Eagles continue to lead the Summit League in scoring offense, averaging 75.8 points per game.
• ORU is coming off a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 262-134 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
