CONWAY, Ark. – The Oral Roberts baseball team registered their second consecutive win Tuesday evening, defeating Central Arkansas 7-5 at Bear Stadium in Conway, Arkansas.

Brooks Fowler made his first collegiate start for the Golden Eagles, tossing four innings of one-run baseball to go along with four strikeouts.
Jakob Hall collected the win, his first as a Golden Eagle, after working 2.1 innings and striking out four.
Cade Denton closed the door in the ninth for his team-best second save of the year.

Justin Quinn led off the contest with a walk and later came around to score on an RBI groundout by
Mac McCroskey to put ORU on top in the first, 1-0.

Holden Breeze added to the Golden Eagle lead in the third as the redshirt sophomore plated Quinn on an RBI single through the left side. The Bears got a run back in the bottom half of the frame to cut the ORU lead to 2-1.

The Golden Eagles scored two runs apiece in the fourth and fifth innings to push their lead to 6-1. Quinn and
Dustin Demeter plated runs in the fourth on an RBI groundout and bases-loaded walk, respectively. In the fifth,
Alec Jones tripled off the right-field wall, driving home
Jake McMurray and
Jackson Loftin.

After the Bears scored a run in the fifth, Central Arkansas hung a three-spot in the seventh to trim the ORU lead to one, 6-5.

Joshua Cox dropped 1-1 pitch down the left-field line for an RBI double in the eighth, making the final score 7-5.
