NEW YORK, N.Y. – Oral Roberts guard Max Abmas was named to the 2021-22 Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention team for the second-straight season, it was announced today.
 
Abmas closed the 2021-22 campaign as an All-Summit League First Team honoree and was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 12 First Team. He finished the season at No. 5 in the nation in points per game (22.8) and third in three-point field goals per game (3.8).
 
The Rockwall, Texas, native posted five games scoring at least 30 points and had 27-straight games scoring 20-plus points to lead the Summit League. Abmas was also named to the Summit League All-Tournament team. During the regular season, for his efforts on January 31, he was honored as the Lute Olson National Player of the Week.
