TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team dropped their series finale with Dallas Baptist, 4-1, Sunday afternoon at J.L. Johnson Stadium. The Golden Eagles have now lost three straight contests.
Andrew Benefield and the Patriots opened the scoring in the third with an RBI double to make it 1-0. George Specht was thrown out at home on the play.
Dallas Baptist tacked on two more runs to their lead, 3-0, in the fourth, courtesy of a two-run homer by Luke Heefner.
Alec Jones trimmed the deficit to 3-1 with his third homer of the season.
The Patriots added one more run in the fourth to make the final tally, 4-1.
