TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team will open the Summit League portion of the season with a trip to Colorado to face preseason league favorite Denver Saturday, September 24 at 8 p.m. CST.

• The Golden Eagles are 4-2-1 on the season after defeating California Baptist last Saturday, 2-1.
   
• Carlos Santamaria leads the team in goals scored with three. Santamaria ranks third in the Summit League in goals scored. He also ranks No. 8 in the country in game-winning goals.
   
• Shane Anderson and Andrew Nunez both have three assists on the season which puts them both at No. 1 in the Summit League.
   
• Goalkeeper Jeremy Coste sits at No. 2 in the league in saves (30) and shutouts (2).
   
• The Golden Eagles rank No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches West Region poll.
   
• Reed Berry and Felipe D'Agostini were named Summit League preseason Players to Watch.
   
• ORU returned five of its All-Summit League Team members which includes, Logan Bellone, Berry, D'Agostini, Giovanni Herrera and Eugene Quaynor.
   
• The Golden Eagles were picked second in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll along with three first place votes.
   
• Head Coach Ryan Bush is back for his 10^th season at the helm for the Golden Eagles. Bush has a 73-63-20 all-time record at ORU as the men's soccer coach. Coach Bush was named 2019 & 2021 Summit League Coach of the Year.
   
• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 20 players and added 13 newcomers to the 2022 squad.
   

Opponent Information

• Denver is 4-2-2 on the season. In their last game, the Pioneers fell to Oregon State, 2-1.  
   
• Sam Bassett is the team leader in goals scored with four and ranks No. 1 in the league. Isaac Nehme has pitched three shutouts this season and has a 0.88 goals-against average in his eight games played.
