#ORUVB Continues League Play with Denver and South Dakota State

TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team welcomes Denver to the Mabee Center for Alumni Night on Thursday at 5 p.m. before traveling to Brookings, South Dakota, to face South Dakota State on Saturday at 7 p.m. 

Thursday's match inside the Mabee Center is free admission and both contests will be streamed on the Summit League Network.

Opening Serve
• Outside hitter Trinity Freeman continues pace the Golden Eagle offensive attack as the junior has led the team in kills in 17 of the last 18 matches. Freeman registered her team-leading seventh double-double of the year in ORU's last match, recording 19 kills and 12 digs. On the season, the Phoenix, Arizona, native leads the Golden Eagles in kills (280) and points (309.5).

• Among the Summit League, Freeman ranks first in kills per set (3.59) and second in points per set (3.97). At the national level, the junior ranks 13th in attacks per set (11.47).

• Freshman Alaina Larson continues to make a big impact on the backrow for the Golden Eagles as the defensive specialist leads the League in service aces per set (0.51). Nationally, Larson ranks 18th in service aces per set. 

• Libero Breanna Rivas sits fourth among the Summit League in digs per set at 3.68. The junior has logged double-digit dig performances in the last three contests she has appeared in.

• As a team, ORU leads the League in attacks per set (36.95) and ranks 26th nationally.

Inside the Matchup (Denver)
• Thursday's match marks the 21st meeting all-time between the Golden Eagles and Pioneers. 

• ORU is in search of its first win against Denver since 2017.

• The Pioneers have won four of their last five matches and are tied atop the League standings with a 9-3 record. 

Inside the Matchup (South Dakota State)
• Saturday's contest marks the 30th meeting all-time between the Golden Eagles and Jackrabbits.

• Despite dropping two straight to SDSU, ORU leads the all-time series, 19-10.

• The Jackrabbits are riding a three-match win streak and hold a 7-16 record overall.
