• Star guard Hannah Cooper put together her best scoring output of the season as she logged a game-high 25 points and five assists in ORU's comeback win over crosstown rival, Tulsa, in the Mayor's Cup on Saturday night.
• After averaging 21.5 points per game and 5.0 assists per game in a pair of Golden Eagle victories this past week, Cooper was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Basketball Peak Performer of the Week. This is the fifth player of the week award of Cooper's career.
• Senior forward Ruthie Udoumoh recorded her fourth career double-double in the contest with a 17 point and 11 rebound performance, scoring 10 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter alone.
• ORU continues to crash the glass as they lead the Summit League in total rebounds per game (45.4) and offensive rebounds per game (17.4). Nationally, the Golden Eagles rank 23rd in offensive rebounds per game.
• Udoumoh (39) and Jalei Oglesby (38) lead the charge on the glass as the duo sits first and second in the League in total rebounds.
• The Golden Eagles collective effort on defense is wreaking havoc on opposing offenses as ORU ranks first in the League in turnovers forced per game with 21.2.
• Udoumoh leads the Summit League and ranks 16th nationally in steals, racking up 15 through the first five games of the season.
• Five Golden Eagles are averaging double-figures in scoring led by Taleyah Jones' 17.4 points per game. Jalei Oglesby (13.8), Hannah Cooper (13.4), Emily Robinson (12.0), and Ruthiee Udoumoh (10.4) round out the double-digit scorers.
• Cooper sits at second in the Summit League in both assists and assists per game, dishing out 21 through the first five games of the season.
• The Golden Eagles are in the midst of a difficult non-conference slate that features two 2023 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.
