TULSA, Okla. – The No. 25 ranked Oral Roberts men's soccer team finished the regular season with a 3-0 win at Omaha Saturday afternoon.
The two teams went in to halftime scoreless. After the break, Omaha was assessed a penalty kick in the 55
th minute that was saved by
Jakub Grzesiak to keep the Mavericks off the board.
Thirty second later, the nation's leading goal scorer then put ORU on the board in the 56
th minute.
Luis Flores earned his 15
th goal of the season on a counter attack after a corner kick by Omaha.
Juan Moreno took the ball and passed it forward to Flores who scored on a breakaway from 16 yards out.
Reed Berry made it a 2-0 match when he scored his third goal of the season in the 67
th minute. Berry scored on a goalkeeper save deflection on a shot by Flores. The ball bounced off the keeper's chest to Berry who scored from left to right.
In the 84
th minute,
Shane Anderson scored his third goal of the season and put ORU up 3-0. A loose ball in the penalty area found
Jose Estrada who passed to Anderson through traffic to the left side. Anderson scored on the left side from three yards out.

- The Golden Eagles moved to 10-3-3 overall to close out the regular season guaranteeing ORU their third-consecutive double-digit win season.
- ORU out-shot Omaha, 15-8, and had 10 shots on goal while the Mavericks managed eight total shots and four on goal.

Jakub Grzesiak played and 90 minutes and recorded four saves. Grzesiak now has a 10-3-3 record this season. It was the sixth shutout of the season for the Golden Egles.

ORU will have a rematch against the Omaha Mavericks Thursday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in the semifinal round of the Summit League Championship at the Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. ORU has earned the No. 2 seed and Omaha will be the No. 3 seed.
