Summit League Food Fight
The ORU athletics department is partnering with the Summit League in the fight against hunger and food insecurity by offering fans one FREE ticket to Saturday's game with the donation of a non-perishable food item.
Saturday's contest will be streamed on the ORU Sports Network and fans can also follow along with the game on ORU's Twitter, @ORUWBB.

Quick Hits
• The Golden Eagles have won five of their last six contests and seven of their last eight inside the Mabee Center.
• In Thursday's contest, Hannah Cooper logged her fourth straight 20-plus point performance and has now registered double-figures in 23 of the 24 games this season.
• The senior enters the weekend as the Summit League leader in field goals made (167), free throw attempts (167), free throws made (140), minutes per game (36.6), total points (493), points per game (20.5), steals (55) and steals per game (2.3). At the national level, Cooper ranks seventh in free throws made, eighth in free throw attempts, 11th in total points, 15th in points per game, 20th in minutes per game and 23rd in field goals made.
• Forward Tirzah Moore logged her sixth straight double-double in Thursday's contest and continues to lead the league in that category with 14. The sophomore also leads the conference in defensive rebounds per game (7.9) and rebounds per game (11.3).
• Nationally, Moore ranks ninth in rebounds per game, ninth in double-doubles, 11th in defensive rebounds per game and 33rd in total rebounds (226).
• Delaney Nix enters the weekend as the Summit League leader in three-pointers made (61) and three-pointers made per game (2.5).
• The Golden Eagles' high-powered offense ranks among the nation's best as they sit 22nd in the country, averaging 77.8 points per game.
• ORU faced a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 270-138 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
Inside the Matchup
• Saturday's matchup marks the 56th meeting all-time between ORU and Western Illinois.
• The Golden Eagles claimed the first meeting, 94-90, between the two sides this season and own a 31-23 advantage in the series.
• The Leathernecks defeated Kansas City, 72-52, on Thursday and enter the weekend with a 9-16 record.Â
• Anna Deets (12.2) and Jada Thorpe (11.3) are the lone Western Illinois players averaging double-figures on the season.
