• Hannah Cooper continues to lead the charge for the Golden Eagles as the senior leads the Summit League in field goals made (189), free throw attempts (191), free throws made (156), minutes per game (36.2), total points (554), points per game (20.5), steals (66) and steals per game (2.4).
• At the national level, Cooper ranks seventh in free throw attempts, eighth in free throws made, 12th in total points, 16th in points per game, 24th in field goals made and 26th in steals. The El Paso, Texas, native's scoring increase of 14.0 points per game ranks third nationally.
• Forward Tirzah Moore continues to lead the Summit League in double-doubles (14), defensive rebounds per game (7.5) and rebounds per game (10.8). At the national level, the sophomore sits 11th in rebounds per game, 16th in double-doubles, 18th in field goal percentage and 19th in defensive rebounds per game.
• Sharpshooter Delaney Nix remains the League leader in three-pointers made (74), three-pointers per game (2.7) and three-point percentage (35.1).Â
• Forward Ruthie Udoumoh continues to make a strong case for Newcomer of the Year as the junior is averaging 12.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in conference play.
• The Golden Eagles' high-powered offense ranks among the nation's best as they sit 13th in the country, averaging 79.2 points per game.
• ORU faced a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 270-141 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
Inside the Matchup
• Thursday's meeting marks the 24th all-time between ORU and South Dakota.
• The Coyotes took the first meeting of the season back on December 21, 101-57, and lead the all-time series 20-3.
• The Golden Eagles are looking for their first home win over South Dakota since 2016.
• The Coyotes enter Thursday's matchup with a 12-15 record and are tied with ORU for fourth place in the Summit League.
• Grace Larkins leads the way for South Dakota as the sophomore averages 17.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
