DALLAS, Texas – The Oral Roberts baseball team dropped game two of its three-game set against Dallas Baptist, 15-5, Saturday afternoon from Horner Ballpark in Dallas, Texas.

Harley Gollert got the start for the Golden Eagles and allowed three runs over five innings of work. Out of the bullpen, Dalton Patten suffered the loss after allowing six runs in two innings. 
 
The Patriots jumped in front, 3-0, in the second behind a three-run homer off the bat of Ethan Mann.
 
A pair of RBI singles from Blaze Brothers and Jonah Cox followed by a bases-loaded walk from Matt Hogan allowed ORU to even the score, 3-3, in the fifth.
 
DBU answered in the bottom half of the frame as Mann registered his second three-run homer of the contest to put the Patriots back in front, 6-3. In the seventh, DBU added another three-run homer to extend its advantage to 9-3.
 
Sam Thompson got two runs back for ORU in the eighth as the redshirt junior blasted his first home run as a Golden Eagle to left-center, cutting the deficit to 9-5.
 
The Patriots put the game away for good in the bottom half of the inning as six runs came across to score, making the final 15-5.  

Inside the Box Score
- ORU totaled 11 hits on the day, marking the eighth time this season the team has reached double-figure hits.
- Seven of the nine batters registered a hit in the lineup.
- Holden Breeze, Brothers, Cox and Thompson all recorded multi-hit performances in the contest.
- The Golden Eagles allowed five home runs on the day.

Notes
- Cox extended his hit streak to 15 games and recorded his ninth multi-hit game of the season.
- Drew Stahl stretched his on-base streak to 14 games. 
- Hudson Hart made his collegiate debut out of the bullpen in the eighth. 
- Thompson's multi-hit performance was his first of the year.
