• On Thursday, the Golden Eagles landed both Hannah Cooper and Tirzah Moore on the All-Summit League First Team, which marked the most among the League's 10 squads. Cooper was also named to the All-Defensive Team, while Ruthie Udoumoh earned a spot on the All-Newcomer Team.
• Cooper continues to pace the Golden Eagles as the senior leads the conference in field goals made (202), free throw attempts (203), free throws made (164), minutes per game (36.3), points (590), points per game (20.3), steals (69) and steals per game (2.4).
• At the national level, Cooper ranks eighth in free throw attempts, ninth in free throws made, 17th in points and 17th in points per game.
• Moore concluded the regular season as the League leader in double-doubles (15), defensive rebounds per game (7.2) and rebounds per game (10.5).
• Udoumoh played a big role for ORU in conference play as the junior averaged 11.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
• Sharpshooter Delaney Nix continues to top the League in three-pointers made (81), three-pointers per game (2.8) and three-point percentage (35.8). The senior's 81 made threes currently rank fifth all-time in program history for a single season.
• The Golden Eagles' high-powered offense ranks among the nation's best as they sit 17th in the country, averaging 78.2 points per game.
• ORU faced a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 270-142 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
Inside the Matchup
• Sunday's meeting marks the 25th all-time and third this season between ORU and USD.
• The Coyotes swept the regular season series and hold a 21-3 edge all-time.
• USD enters the weekend as the No. 4 seed in the tournament after finishing with a 14-15 record and 10-8 mark in League play.
• Grace Larkins, an All-Summit League First Team performer, leads the way for the Coyotes as the sophomore averages 17.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
