• Oral Roberts is receiving votes in top 25 polls for the fifth-straight week and check in ranked No. 32 in the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 35 in the College Soccer News poll.
   
• Three Golden Eagles have been named Summit League Players of the Week so far this season. Luis Flores and Juan Moreno have each claimed the offensive honor and Jakub Grzesiak the defensive recognition.
   
• The Golden Eagles are showing they have the best defense in the Summit League allowing the fewest goals of any team this season. They also have a strong offensive attack ranking second in the country in shots on goal per game and sixth in scoring offense. ORU also comes in No. 6 nationally in goal differential.
   
• Luis Flores is sixth in the country in game-winning goals and eighth in total goals.
   
• Reed Berry and Schinieder Mimy were named Summit League preseason Players to Watch.
   
• ORU returned six of its All-Summit League Team members which includes Shane Anderson, Berry, Francisco Lopez, Felipe Medina, Schinieder Mimy and Joel Quashie.
   
• The Golden Eagles were picked second in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll along with two first place votes.
   
• Head Coach Ryan Bush is back for his 11^th season at the helm for the Golden Eagles. Bush has an 85-67-22 all-time record at ORU as the men's soccer coach. Coach Bush was named 2019, 2021 & 2022 Summit League Coach of the Year.
   
• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 19 players and added 11 newcomers to the 2023 squad.

• Denver comes in to the week ranked No. 17 in the College Soccer News poll and No. 20 in Top Drawer Soccer. In the United Soccer Coaches poll, the Pioneers are receiving votes and come in at No. 29.
   
• The Pioneers are 5-2-3 overall and 1-0-0 in conference play. In their last match, Denver fell at Pittsburgh, 3-1. Earlier this season, Denver defeated No. 11 SMU, 3-1, at home.  
   
• Denver was picked to win the league in the Summit League preseason coaches' poll. Sam Bassett and Ben Smith were named preseason all-conference.
