TULSA, Okla. – The ORU volleyball team will travel to the state of North Dakota this week, facing off against North Dakota and North Dakota State in the second week of Summit League play. The Golden Eagles play against North Dakota on October 3rd at 7:00 p.m (CT) and North Dakota State on October 5th at 7:00 p.m. (CT). ORU is looking to rebound after one of their more challenging weeks, dropping matches against the number one and two ranked Summit League programs, South Dakota State and South Dakota.

• ORU ranks first in team digs (767) within The Summit League and 97th nationally. ORU also ranks second in team service aces (81) in The Summit League and 110th nationally. The Golden Eagles also rank first in total attacks (1,842) The Summit League and 89th nationally.

Inside the Matchup: North Dakota

• The Golden Eagles play against the Fighting Hawks for the 13th time on Thursday. The Fighting Hawks lead the all-time series 8-4. Their last meeting was in October 2023, when ORU was swept by UND, 0-3.

• The Golden Eagles and Bison have played twice a year dating back to 2014. North Dakota State leads the all-time series 25-12. Their most recent matchup came last October, resulting in an NDSU 3-0 sweep over the Golden Eagles.
