TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team defeated Haskell, 87-52, on Saturday night behind a 19-point performance by
Darius Robinson Jr. off the bench.

Four Golden Eagles reached double-digits tonight against the Indians.
Sam Alajiki (13 PTS) and
Josh Jones (11 PTS) led the way for the starters, while Robinson (19 PTS) and
JoJo Moore (12 PTS) provided a spark for the bench unit. After going into halftime up nine, ORU came out aggressive in the second half and put up 51 points in the final 20 minutes of play. The Golden Eagles' big second half propelled them to the 35-point win.

Turning Point
After a slow start in the first half, the Golden Eagles came out firing in the second. ORU blitzed Haskell with a 22-4 run in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, fueled by defensive pressure in the backcourt. During the run, the Golden Eagles forced eight Haskell turnovers, creating prime scoring opportunities on the other end of the floor. ORU's increased defensive pressure helped push its lead out to 35 as the Golden Eagles would come away with the 87-52 victory.
