TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team continues its road trip and heads to Oxford, Mississippi to take on Ole Miss on Thursday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m.

• ORU fell to Belmont, 90-80, in its last outing on Tuesday in Nashville.
• Transfer forward Sam Alajiki scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed six rebounds. Alajiki has scored in double digits four straight games and leads the Golden Eagles in scoring, averaging 15.4 ppg.
• Star guard Issac McBride poured in 19 points against the Bruins and dished out a career-high eight assists.
• Jalen Miller led the team in rebounding against Belmont, grabbing a career-high seven boards.
• McBride was named the Summit League Preseason Player of the Year. This is the third time in four years that an ORU player has earned this award.
• On top of his Player of the Year accolade, McBride was also named to the Summit League Preseason First Team, the Bracketeer Preseason All-American Watch List, and the Lou Henson Early Season Watchlist.
• McBride currently ranks 14th all-time at ORU in scoring with 1,472 points.
• Earlier this season against Haskell, he played in his 100th game at ORU, becoming the 39th player in program history to reach that milestone.
• The Golden Eagles are 0-5 against Ole Miss all-time. The last matchup between these two schools came in 2016 at the Paradise Jam. Ole Miss won 95-88 in overtime.
• ORU was picked to finish fifth in the Summit League Preseason Poll.
• The Golden Eagles welcome 10 newcomers (six transfers, four freshmen) to the 2024-25 squad.
• Of the 10 offseason additions, three of them are natives of Oklahoma. Jackson Skipper (Tulsa), Chase Martin (Jenks), and Luke Gray (Edmond) are all local to the Sooner State.
• Russell Springmann enters his second year at the helm for the Golden Eagles. The program went 12-19 in his first year as head coach and lost in the first round of the Summit League tournament.
 
Opponent Information: Ole Miss
• Ole Miss is 4-0 on the season and was previously ranked as high as 24th in the AP poll before sliding out this week. The Rebels received votes this week.
• Senior guard Sean Pedulla leads the Rebels offense, averaging 13.3 ppg, 3.3 apg, and 3.0 rpg.
• Ole Miss is led by Head Coach Chris Beard, who posts a 24-12 career record with the Rebels.
