TULSA, Okla. – The ORU women's basketball team is set to kick off one of their busiest stretches of the 2024-25 season, playing four games in eight days. The Golden Eagles play two games in three days this weekend, matching up against Oklahoma City at the Mabee Center and #10 Oklahoma on the road.

QUICK HITS

• The ORU women's basketball program is coming off a 1-1 week in the Big Sky/Summit Challenge, losing a tough road test against Northern Arizona (80-87) and defeating Montana State (82-80) in an overtime battle.
• Taleyah Jones had an impressive week, averaging 24.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game over the two-game stint last week. (26 pts, 5 reb at NAU, 22 pts, 4 reb vs Montana State)
• Jalei Oglesby had an efficient week last week, averaging 14.5 points on 12-19 (63.2%) shooting from the field.
• The Golden Eagles were a new addition to the College Insider Mid-Major Poll this week, coming in at #23.
• As a team, ORU currently ranks first in the Summit League in assists per game (15.0), rebounds per game (41.13), scoring offense (81.8) and turnover margin (4.63).
• Ruthie Udoumoh has been dominant in the paint this season, helping the Golden Eagles reach an average of 13.8 offensive rebounds per game (second in the Summit League).
• Individually, Udoumoh ranks first in the Summit League and is 15^th in the country in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 4.4. She also ranks 23^rd nationally and first in the Summit League in rebounds per game, averaging 10.1.
• Taleyah Jones and Ruthie Udoumoh are each averaging 3.9 and 4.1 points above their career averages this season, respectively. Makyra Tramble is also averaging 5.8 points above her career average this season.
• Ruthie Udoumoh is currently averaging a double-double on the year while four starters (Udoumoh, Jones, Tramble, Robinson) and one bench player (Oglesby) are currently averaging double-figures.

 
MILESTONE WATCH

• Taleyah Jones has 969 points (270 points at UT Arlington) throughout her three year playing career. With just 31 more points she would reach the 1,000 point mark.
• Ruthie Udoumoh has 908 points (49 points at Oklahoma State) over her five year playing career. 141 more points would make Udoumoh the 23^rd 1,000-point scorer in program history.
• Udoumoh is also closing in on 100 career-games played, she is currently at 96.
• Head Coach Kelsi Musick is two wins away from reaching the 300 career wins mark.

Oklahoma City:

• The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 11-10, with their last matchup against the Stars dating back to 1992 (W, 75-71).
• OCU is led by Amaya Gordon who is averaging 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.
• Head Coach Kris Seigenthaler is in her third season at the helm for the Stars, boasting a 24-44 career record.

 
#10 Oklahoma:
