NORMAN, Okla. – The Golden Eagles suffered their third loss of the season on Sunday afternoon in Norman, falling 54-94 against the #10 ranked Sooners.

Ruthie Udoumoh and
Jalei Oglesby scored over half of ORU's points, logging 15 and 14, respectively. Oglesby also led the Golden Eagles in rebounds, grabbing seven while
Makyra Tramble led the team in assists with three.

Facing off against their first ranked opponent this season, the Golden Eagles felt the effects early. The Sooners made six layups off their first seven shots from the field, putting ORU in an 11-19 hole with 1:53 to play in the first. Five turnovers proved costly for ORU, down 11-24 heading into the second quarter.
The Golden Eagles were outscored 8-25 in the second quarter, behind runs of 10-0 and 5-0 by OU. The Golden Eagles had work to do at the break, down 19-49.

ORU came out of the locker room with momentum, scoring 22 points in the quarter to OU's 23. Seven points on 3-4 (75%) shooting from
Ruthie Udoumoh helped ORU battle in the third. Eight free throws (8-9) allowed the Golden Eagles to build off a rough start, heading into the final quarter down 41-72.
The hot streak continued for the Sooners in the fourth, shooting 40% from the field and 37.5% from the arc compared to ORU's 37.5% from the field and 16.7 percent from the arc. Freshman,
Alayna Kraus, opened the fourth quarter scoring for ORU, knocking down a triple. Three straight layups from
Ruthie Udoumoh and
Makyra Tramble gave the Golden Eagles some spark but the once 42 point deficit proved to be too much to overcome.

Oral Roberts: Ruthie Udoumoh scored 15 points on the afternoon, shooting 7-12 from the field, grabbing three rebounds and two steals.

#10 Oklahoma: Raegan Beers led OU, tallying 14 points on 7-10 shooting, 10 rebounds and three steals.
