TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team will close out the Big Sky/Summit Challenge at the Mabee Center against the Montana State Bobcats on December 7th at 5:00 p.m. (CT).

  • The Golden Eagles dropped their first game of the Big Sky/Summit Challenge to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks 80-87 on Wednesday. A difficult third quarter led to ORU's second loss of the season.
  • Taleyah Jones tied her season-high in points against NAU, leading the Golden Eagles offensively with 26.
  • Against NAU, Jalei Oglesby tied her season-high in steals, racking up three while Meghan Weinrich tied her season-high in assists with three. Emily Robinson also tied season-highs in free throws made (three), assists (five) and steals (two). Tyla Heard set a career-high tallying four assists and Makyra Tramble tied a season-high in three-pointers made, knocking down four.
  • As a team, ORU currently ranks first in the Summit League in assist/turnover ratio (1.05), assists per game (14.9), rebounds per game (40.14), scoring margin (8.0), scoring offense (81.7) and turnover margin (6.00).
  • Ruthie Udoumoh has been dominant in the paint this season, helping the Golden Eagles reach an average of 13.1 offensive rebounds per game (second in the Summit League).
  • Individually, Udoumoh ranks first in the Summit League and is 17th in the country in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 4.3. She also ranks first in the Summit League and 27th nationally in rebounds per game (10.0).
  • Taleyah Jones and Ruthie Udoumoh are each averaging 3.4 and 5.2 points above their career averages this season, respectively. Makyra Tramble is also averaging 6.1 points above her career average this season.
  • Ruthie Udoumoh is currently averaging a double-double on the year while four starters (Udoumoh, Jones, Tramble, Robinson) and one bench player (Oglesby) are currently averaging double-figures.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP
  • After facing off against the first-place team in the Big Sky on Wednesday, the Golden Eagles will play against the second-place Bobcats on Saturday.
  • Saturday's matchup will be the first-ever meeting between the Golden Eagles and Bobcats.
  • MSU is led by Marah Dykstra who is averaging 13.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Dykstra leads the Big Sky in field goal percentage, shooting 54.1% on the season.
