TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team took their third-straight Summit League series this afternoon at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

Brooks Fowler continued his dominance against the Bears this season, spotting the Golden Eagles' lineup with another quality start with six strikeouts in five innings.

ORU would repay their starter by capitalizing off a UNC error to plate two runs in the second and four more runs off an opposite-field grand slam by Kyle Booker to go up 6-0.

The Bears clawed their way within four runs in the sixth, but Conner Floyd spun 2.2 innings of scoreless relief out of the bullpen to get the Golden Eagles into the ninth.

Northern Colorado once again attempted to mount a comeback, placing the pressure on Oral Roberts with runners in scoring position after an RBI double threatened to push the game into extra innings.

However, Dalton Patten was able to shut the door and help make ORU winners of seven of their last eight games.
