SAINT PAUL, Minn.– The Oral Roberts baseball team concluded the regular season portion of their schedule falling just short of their fourth consecutive Summit League series win.

The Tommies opened the rubber match quickly putting the Golden Eagles in a seven-run deficit over the course of the first two innings.

Holden Breeze and Kyle Booker cut Saint Thomas' lead to four with a pair of singles in the third. Meanwhile the trio of Caleb Isaacs, Owen Reynolds, and Dalton Patten put together 5.2 scoreless innings of relief to keep ORU in the game.

In the seventh Breeze once again came up clutch for the Golden Eagles, poking a single up the middle to make it a three-run game. Martell Davis increased the pressure on the Tommies with his third hit of the day, driving in Sam Thompson with a double.

However the Tommies were able to hold off ORU taking the series with a 7-5 win.
