STILLWATER, Okla. – Goalkeeper Alexa Reifer recorded a career-high 14 saves, but the Oral Roberts women's soccer team fell, 1-0, to the Oklahoma State Cowgirls Sunday night in Stillwater.
 
OSU kept constant pressure on the Golden Eagles' defense in the first half. The Cowgirls took 18 shots and five corner kicks in the first 45 minutes of action, putting seven of those shots on goal. However, goalkeeper Alexa Riefer would remain stout on the backline, as she saved all seven shots put on frame by OSU.
 
Forward Zoe McCabe took the lone shot of the half for ORU in the 16^th minute. McCabe put the shot on goal, but Cowgirl goalkeeper Grace Gordon would make the save.
 
Both teams remained in a headlock for the first 30 minutes of the second half. Xcaret Pineda broke the tie in the 78^th minute for the Cowgirls to put the home team up 1-0. The Golden Eagles made a late push in the final 10 minutes of action and earned a corner kick in the 87^th minute, but they were unable to convert. OSU would go on to claim a 1-0 victory.
