TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team suffered their first home loss of the season Sunday afternoon to Stephen F. Austin.
 
The Lumberjacks played a sound offensive and defensive match making it difficult for the Golden Eagles to find any rhythm on offense. SFA struck first in the 23^rd minute with a goal by Jayme Bailey off a cross by Maddie Bowers. The Lumberjacks outshot ORU 9-3 in the first half and held a 1-0 lead at halftime.
 
The Golden Eagles opened the second half of play aggressive, but struggled to generate offensive looks against the SFA defense. ORU registered just two shots in the second half. In the 78^th minute, Maddie Bowers made her presence felt again as she doubled the Lumberjacks' lead off a pass by Brielle Buchanan. SFA took its 2-0 lead down to the final to come away with the victory.
