GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Golden Eagles outlasted the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in a late-night double-overtime showdown, earning their first double-overtime win since 2011.

Taleyah Jones tied her season-high, scoring 29 points on the night while securing her third straight 20+ point game. Jones also brough in five rebounds and made five threes in the process.
Jalei Oglesby followed Jones, recording 21 points on the night while grabbing six rebounds.
Makyra Tramble was one assist and two rebounds away from her first career double-double, racking up 16 points, nine assists and eight rebounds.

2:20 into the first quarter,
Meghan Weinrich knocked down a jump shot before
Jalei Oglesby went on a 9-0 run of her own as ORU fell behind 11-16. With 2:13 left in the first,
Makyra Tramble hit a three to cut the Fighting Hawk lead to two before Weinrich went 1-2 from the line. North Dakota held a three-point lead after one (17-20).
The first eight points of the second quarter were scored by
Taleyah Jones who was just starting to heat up.
Gentry Baldwin hit a triple that gave ORU a one-point lead (28-27) before UND went on an 8-0 run of their own. Jones' 13-point quarter helped ORU stay close behind the Fighting Hawks heading into the half (37-41).

Coming out of the break,
Taleyah Jones continued her hot streak, knocking down another jumper 12 seconds into the second half. With 6:58 left in the quarter,
Meghan Weinrich scored her fifth point of the game to level the score at 43.
Makyra Tramble proceeded to make two layups while knocking down three free throws to cut the UND lead to one heading into the final ten minutes of regulation.
Taleyah Jones and
Jalei Oglesby were clutch down the stretch in the fourth, scoring 12 of the Golden Eagles final 14 points. The Fighting Hawks held an eight-point lead with 3:23 to play before Jones hit her fourth three of the game and Oglesby tipped in a layup, cutting the Golden Eagles' deficit to five. ORU held UND scoreless in the final 2:29 of regulation before sparking a 7-0 to send the game to overtime.

Overtime started poorly for the Golden Eagles as a 5-0 run from the Fighting Hawks quickly diminished their momentum (74-79).
Ruthie Udoumoh sunk a pair of free throws before grabbing a steal and assisting a
Meghan Weinrich layup. Down 80-81, Jones sunk a clutch three with 1:10 to go in the first overtime period (83-81) before two free throws on the other end tied the game at 83.

The Golden Eagles lived at the line during the second overtime period, knocking down ten free throws to UND's four in the five-minute period.
Emily Robinson iced the game with 45 seconds left on the clock, making her first shot of the game when it mattered the most.
