TULSA, Okla. – The ORU women's golf team played in the Route 66 Invitational Honoring Dale McNamara this week, securing a ninth-place finish at thirty-eight over par.
Cedar Ridge CC is a par-71 course that plays 6,181 yards.
As a team, ORU finished thirty-eight over par (304-286-300). Arkansas claimed the Route 66 Invitational Honoring Dale McNamara title, shooting 278-280-283 (-11). Oklahoma's Savannah Barber won the individual title, shooting eleven under par.
Lydia Swan shot seven-over par (77-69-74) and tied for 25
th place. Swan shot a bogey-free 69 (-2) in the second round.
Anna Swan finished two shots back of Lydia, closing out her weekend at nine-over par (73-74-75). Swan finished in 33
rd place.
Freshman,
Khloe Jones, shot 72-72-74 (+12), closing out the Dale McNamara Invitational tied for 42
nd.
Avery Blake shot 78-71-77 (+13). Blake placed tied for 48
th.
Jayla Kucy closed out the Dale McNamara Invitational, shooting seventeen over par (76-75-79). Kucy finished the weekend tied for 66
th.
