ORU came out strong against North Dakota State, firing off nine shots  including two on goal before breaking through in the 34th minute to take the lead. The Golden Eagles' defense held firm, limiting the Bison to just one off-target attempt, sending ORU into halftime up 1-0. 

The second half proved to be a physical battle, with ORU recording six shots and North Dakota State adding three, including two on goal but neither side was able to score. Play was paused in the 81st minute due to inclement weather, and once action resumed, the Golden Eagles held strong to secure the 1–0 victory. The win crowned ORU as the 2025 Summit League Regular Season Champions.

• ORU took 15 shots compared to the Bisons four .
• ORU had three shots on goal while the Bisons recorded two shots on goal .
• ORU earned five corner kicks, while the Bisons took three.
• ORU's one goal was scored off an assist.
