SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior McKenzie Mages and Oral Roberts redshirt sophomore Christian Johnson garnered the final Kwik Star #SummitGF Peak Golfer of the Week accolades of the fall season, League officials announced Thursday. Mages earned the women's honor for the fourth time in her career while Johnson collected the men's honor for the first time.

Mages opened with back-to-back under-par rounds of 70 (-2) and 71 (-1) before closing with a 74 (+2) to finish with a 215 (-1) total, tying for ninth at The Clash at Boulder Creek. With the top-10 finish, the Sioux Falls, S.D., native moved into a tie for sixth on SDSU's all-time list with 13 career top-10 showings. Mages led the Jacks to a 13^th-place team finish in the 54-hole tournament. Mages tallied 11 birdies throughout the tournament and capped it off with an eagle in the final round to close out the fall season.

Johnson carded rounds of 71 (+1), 76 (+6), and 72 (+2) at The Clerico to claim a share of 19th place in a highly competitive field. The 12-team event featured four programs ranked among the nation's top 20 and included two of the country's top-10 individual golfers, along with 13 ranked inside the top 75. Johnson's closing round 72 topped the third-round scoring average of 77 by five strokes. The Oklahoma City, Okla., native logged eight birdies over the 54-hole tournament, including four during his closing round.
