HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The ORU women's golf team played in the Prairie Dunes Invitational at Belmar Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, placing 14
th out of 14 teams. The Prairie Dunes Invitational consisted of a field that included seven power-four institutions.
Prairie Dunes CC is a par 70 course playing 6,005 yards. The Prairie Dunes Invitational was shortened from 54 to 36 holes after the first round of the tournament due to weather delays.
As a team, ORU finished sixty-nine-over par (323-206). Florida claimed the Prairie Dunes Invitational title, shooting 287-286 (+13). Megan Propeck won the individual title, shooting one under par over the two-day tournament.
Sophomore,
Anna Swan shot eleven-over par (78-73) and tied for 34
th place.
Avery Blake finished four shots back of Swan, closing out her weekend at fifteen-over par (79-76). Blake tied for 47
th.
Jayla Kucy fired 83-76 (+19), closing out the Prairie Dunes Invitational tied for 61
st.
Freshman,
Khloe Jones, shot 83-81 (+24). Jones placed tied for 71
st.
Charlotte Stick closed out the Prairie Dunes Invitational, shooting thirty-four-over par (85-89). Stick finished the weekend in 78
th.
