The opening half was dominated by ORU, who came out aggressively with 12 total shots, including five on target. St. Thomas managed just four shots, with only one on goal. Despite the offensive pressure, neither team found the back of the net, leaving the score tied at 0-0 heading into halftime.

The second half continued with ORU applying heavy pressure, but it was St. Thomas who struck first, scoring in the 61st minute. ORU responded with intensity, finding the equalizer in the 76th minute and just 27 seconds later, added another to take a 2-1 lead. However, St. Thomas managed to find a late equalizer in the 88th minute, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
