TULSA, Okla. – Connor Dow and Ty Harper each broke the 20-point threshold as the Golden Eagles came up short against Tulsa at the Mabee Center.
 
The Golden Eagles had three players score in double figures, led by Dow, who had 22 points. Harper tacked on 20 points while Ofri Naveh tallied 14 points and two steals.
 
After playing to a 10-10 tie, ORU went on an 8-0 run with 16:11 left in the first half. One of Dow's six threes in the contest helped the Golden Eagles to an 18-10 lead. ORU lost a portion of that lead but entered halftime with a 49-45 lead. The Golden Eagles had stellar three-point shooting in the period, knocking down 10 shots to account for 30 of their 49 points. The Golden Hurricane tied things up at 65 before ORU went on a 5-0 run, finished off by a Jack Turner three, to earn a 70-65 lead with 10:35 to go in the game. The Golden Eagles were outscored 23-17 down the stretch and couldn't overcome the late charge from TU.
