SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Golden Eagles fell 63-62 to the Missouri State Bears on a last-second tip-in, moving ORU to 5-8 on the season.
 
ORU had three players score in double figures, led by Ty Harper, who had 20 points, Ofri Naveh who added 18 points and Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams chipped in with 10 points. Naveh also grabbed seven rebounds and two steals, while Yamanouchi-Williams went a perfect 8-8 from the line.
 
Oral Roberts made just five field goals in the first half, sitting in a six-point hole (30-24) heading into the break. Ty Harper flipped a switch in the second half, scoring 10 points in the first 8:02. The Golden Eagles narrowed their deficit to 53-48 before going on a 5-0 run to even the score at 53 all with 6:33 to go. In crunch time, the Bears outscored ORU 10-9 the rest of the way to hand the Golden Eagles the loss.
