TULSA, Okla. — Oral Roberts women's soccer head coach Austin Risenhoover has announced the signing of Cameron Silva, a highly regarded transfer from the University of Alabama, ahead of the upcoming season.

Silva, a native of Manteca, California, was ranked as the 89th overall player nationally in the Class of 2023 and brings an accomplished resume at both the collegiate and youth levels. She appeared in 18 matches for Alabama, starting 12 games during the 2025 season, and recorded two assists off the bench against Florida Atlantic and Florida in 2024.

"We are so excited to welcome Cami to the ORU family. Her pedigree as a player and, more importantly, as a person is exactly what we are looking for as we continue our quest to be champions," said Risenhoover.

"Cami has experience with the youth national team, competed in the SEC, and played in the NCAA Tournament at Alabama. She will help guide and lead our program as we work toward bringing trophies to ORU.On a personal note, I have known Cami since she was 14, and I know firsthand that she is exactly the type of person and player that ORU Women's Soccer is looking for."

Prior to college, Silva starred at Manteca High School, where she finished as the second all-time leading scorer with 111 goals, while also totaling 56 assists and 278 points. She was named the 2023 Manteca High School Female Athlete of the Year and the 2023 Sac Hi Sports South Girls Player of the Year. Her accolades also include Valley Oak League MVP, All-Area Midfielder as a freshman, Offensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior, and team MVP honors as a senior.

At the club level, Silva earned first-team (2023) and second-team (2022) ECNL honors with Mustang SC, competed in the April 2022 ECNL National Selection Game, and attended U.S. National Team ID Centers from 2019–23. She currently plays for Cal Storm in both the USL W League and WPSL.
