TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts University women's soccer program has announced the addition of two spring transfers and one incoming freshman with the arrival of Anna Darling, Emerie Campbell, and Sophia Trevino. The trio joins the Golden Eagles ahead of spring competition, bringing collegiate experience and elite club development to Tulsa. "I couldn't be more excited about this group. They bring a strong pedigree from where they've been, and we've definitely added some high-level, technical soccer players along with outstanding human beings. Every one of them will help us in our Quest to BE Champions." Coach Risenhoover stated.
Anna Darling | Midfielder | Transfer from Louisiana
Darling transfers to ORU from Louisiana after building an impressive résumé at Boerne High School in Texas. She was named Midfielder of the Year and earned First Team All-State honors, along with All-State Tournament Team recognition. Darling helped lead Boerne to a 4A Girls State Runner-Up finish and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Her creativity and composure in the midfield will add depth and versatility to the Golden Eagles this spring.
Emerie Campbell | Forward | Transfer from Minot State
Campbell joins ORU after appearing in 17 matches with 17 starts at Minot State, finishing with three goals. Prior to her collegiate career, Campbell was homeschooled and played her senior season at Escondido Charter High School, recording one goal and two assists while earning Second Team All-League honors.
At the club level, Campbell competed with San Diego Surf and gained additional high-level experience in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with the San Diego Dons. Her attacking presence and collegiate experience provide an immediate boost to the Golden Eagles' offense.
Sophia Trevino | Defender/Midfielder | Tulsa, Okla.
A Tulsa native, Trevino joins ORU as an incoming freshman following a decorated career at Tulsa Union High School. She earned Honorable Mention All-District honors as a freshman, All-District recognition as a sophomore, and All-State honors during her junior and senior seasons.
Trevino competed at the club level for WSA and was a three-time ECNL RL Texas All-Regional League selection. She also earned ECNL RL North Texas All-Regional League honors, showcasing her consistency and impact at one of the nation's top youth platforms.
With the addition of two experienced transfers and a highly accomplished freshman, ORU continues to strengthen its roster and build momentum heading into the upcoming season.
