GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball suffered an 88-77 loss Saturday afternoon at North Dakota.
The first half saw back-and-forth scoring through the opening six minutes. From the 13:38 minute mark to the 10:55 mark, UND went on a 10-0 run powered by baskets from Eli King and Zach Kraft. ORU responded with a 7-0 run of its own with five points from
Issac McBride and a pair of free throws from
Jackson Skipper. The Fighting Hawks regained a cushion over the next few minutes and held a 48-35 lead at the break.
UND continued its hot offensive start coming out of halftime with a 9-0 run to stretch its lead to 22 points. McBride and
Jalen Miller tried to will the Golden Eagles back into the game, but North Dakota had an answer for every ORU run. The Fighting Hawks held on to win 88-77.
