TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team and Head Coach Kory Barnett have announced the addition of transfer forward Ofri Naveh to the 2025-26 roster.
"We're excited to welcome Ofri Naveh to ORU," said Coach Barnett. "He brings a unique blend of toughness and skill, shaped by his experience starting in the Big 12 and redshirting at West Virginia. Ofri knows what it takes to compete at a high level, and we're confident he'll make an immediate impact on our team and culture."
From Neot Golan, Israel, Naveh transfers to the Golden Eagles from West Virginia, where he spent the last two seasons. Naveh redshirted in 2024-25, but as a true freshman in 2023–24, he saw action in 24 games with seven starts for the Mountaineers, averaging 13.8 minutes, 2.6 points, and 2.5 rebounds per game. He posted multiple standout performances, including 11 points against Pitt, nine points against St. John's, and 10 points and six rebounds versus Bellarmine. He also grabbed seven rebounds against Virginia and made his first collegiate start against Jacksonville State.
Internationally, Naveh has competed at a high level for Team Israel, including a strong showing at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship, where he averaged 11.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 54 percent from the field and 47 percent from three. He posted double-digit scoring efforts against elite teams such as France, Greece, and Lithuania.
A product of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv's U18 program, Naveh brings a blend of toughness, skill, and international polish that will bolster ORU's frontcourt depth. He was also an Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team selection and earned honors on both the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Garrett Ford Academic Honor Roll.
