TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball program and first-year head coach
Cophie Anderson released its nonconference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season Monday afternoon. The slate features eight home contests, seven road matchups and three Power Four opponents.
ORU posted a 24-9 overall record in 2024-25, marking consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time since 2010-12 and the program's highest win total since 1983. The historic season included victories over Power Four opponents Arkansas and Missouri, an appearance in the Summit League Tournament championship game and a selection to the WBIT.
"I'm excited about the non-conference season to begin, this is an opportunity where we'll compete, grow and develop," said Coach Anderson. "Thrilled to see this group continue building on the standard of excellence we've set here as ORU Women's Basketball."
ORU will open the 2025-26 season with back-to-back home games against Friends University on Nov. 3 and Haskell College on Nov. 6. The Golden Eagles will then travel to Stillwater for an in-state matchup with Oklahoma State on Nov. 9 before heading to St. Charles, Missouri, to take on Lindenwood on Nov. 13.
The Golden Eagles will look to claim their third straight Mayor's Cup, hosting Tulsa on Nov. 17 before hitting the road for Power Four matchups at Nebraska on Nov. 19 and Kansas on Nov. 23. Prior to Thanksgiving, ORU will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Nov. 26.
For the second straight season, the Golden Eagles will take part in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge, facing a road test at Idaho on Dec. 3 before returning home to take on Idaho State on Dec. 6.
ORU will face two road opponents–Wichita State on Dec. 16 and North Texas on Dec. 18–before closing out the nonconference slate after Christmas break against Oklahoma Wesleyan on Dec. 29.
