TULSA, OK – After holding a two-goal advantage at the half, the Oral Roberts men's soccer team opened the 2025 season with a 2-2 draw against Cal State Fullerton on Thursday evening.
The Golden Eagles registered 14 shots, led by
Emilio Cazares and
Leonardo Seixas with three apiece, and put seven shots on goal, including two by Cazares. The Titans also tallied 14 shots, with six on target. ORU goalkeeper
Jakub Grzesiak played all 90 minutes, recording four saves.
Cazares opened the scoring in the second minute, converting a penalty kick into the lower-right corner.
Emmanuel Denis added ORU's second goal in the 17th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 2-0 lead. ORU's defense held strong through the half, but Cal State Fullerton surged late, scoring in the 82nd and 86th minutes to even the match.
