TULSA, Okla. – Head Coach Nolan Albrecht and the ORU volleyball program will begin their 2025 campaign in Moscow, Idaho, at the Vandal Volleyball Invitational.

Opening Serve

• Head coach Nolan Albrecht is in his first year as the head coach of the ORU volleyball program.
• Coach Albrecht added his sister Annika (Albrecht) Moulder and Katy Morrison to his staff as assistant coaches this offseason.
• The Golden Eagles have welcomed nine newcomers this offseason, six of whom are freshmen.
• DS/L Julia Carr and MB Natassia Baptiste were named Summit League Preseason Players to Watch this past week.
• ORU is three wins away from 1,000 wins as a program.

Inside the Matchup: Idaho

• The Golden Eagles will play against the Vandals for the first time since 2005 on Friday. Idaho beat ORU 3-1 in their first and only meeting.
• Romana Redondo Kriskova is entering her second season as the head coach of the Vandals. Over her one year career at Idaho she holds a 1-26 record.

Inside the Matchup: Portland

• ORU has never faced the Portland Pilots. Their first-ever matchup will take place on Friday.
• Megan Burton is entering her sixth season as the head coach of the Pilots. She holds a 38-88 career record.

Inside the Matchup: Cal State Fullerton

• The Golden Eagles played Cal State Fullerton back-to-back last season, falling 3-0 in both matches.
• Nicky Cannon is in her first season as the Head Coach of the Titans and holds a 20-70 career record during her three years at UC Riverside.
