NORMAN, Okla. – The ORU women's golf team took part in the Schooner Fall Classic this weekend at Belmar Country Club in Norman, Oklahoma, placing 14
th out of 16 teams. The Schooner Fall Classic consisted of a loaded field, including 11 power-four teams.
Belmar Country Club is a par 70 course playing 6,182 yards.
As a team, ORU finished 27-over par (287-291-289). Oklahoma State claimed the Schooner Fall Classic title, shooting 274-270-278 (-18). Gracie McGovern from TCU won the individual title, firing rounds of 68-67-66 and posting a score of nine-under.
Sophomore,
Anna Swan shot four-over par (71-73-70) on the weekend and tied for 37
th place.
Avery Blake finished one shot back of Swan closing out her weekend at five-over par (69-74-72). Blake finished tied for 44
th.
Jayla Kucy fired 75-74-73 (+12), closing out the Schooner Fall Classic tied for 73
rd.
Freshman,
Khloe Jones made her way into the starting five this weekend, shooting 72-71-82 (+15). Jones placed tied for 77
th.
Lydia Swan closed out her Schooner Fall Classic campaign with a score shooting 13-over par (78-77-74). Swan finished the weekend tied for 80
th.
