HOUSTON, Texas – Despite a late goal from Emilio Cazares, the Oral Roberts men's soccer team fell to Houston Christian, 3-1, on Sunday evening. The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 1-4-1 on the season.

Houston Christian opened the scoring in the seventh minute and carried a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Huskies doubled their advantage in the 60th minute.

ORU pulled one back in the 85th minute when Cazares netted his second goal of the year off an assist from Emmanuel Denis, cutting the deficit to 2-1. However, HCU answered just three minutes later with an 88th-minute goal to seal the 3-1 result.
