TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team is set to continue Summit League play in the Mabee Center this week, hosting Kansas City on Thursday, January 15 at 7 p.m., and Omaha on Saturday, January 17 at 2 p.m.
 
Fans should be ready to blast off into a new galaxy on Saturday as the Golden Eagles celebrate Star Wars Day with a basketball doubleheader. The games will feature giveaways of custom Star Wars x ORU Basketball posters, light sticks, and T-shirts, along with a postgame movie on the videoboard.

• ORU is coming off a 1-1 week, defeating South Dakota before falling at South Dakota State.
• The Golden Eagles were led by Azailah Funches in their 83-61 win over USD, as the sophomore guard posted 18 points and nine rebounds.
• Three other players reached double-figure scoring, as Anna Trusty recorded 18 points, followed by Kayten Donley with 16 and Ari Gordon with 10.
• ORU recorded seven blocks against the Coyotes, led by Gordon and A'Maya Holton with two apiece.

• Redshirt senior Jalei Oglesby closely trails Trusty, ranking sixth in the Summit League in field goal percentage (46.5%) and in fifth points per game (16.0).
• Kayten Donley's 1.06 blocks per game rank fifth in the Summit League.
• Gentry Baldwin sits third in the league in assist to turnover ratio (1.21).
• ORU leads the Summit League in steals per game (10.2) and turnovers forced per game (20.41). The Golden Eagles rank second in free throws per game (16.12) and scoring offense (77.3), and are third in bench points per game (21.5), field goal percentage (43.6), and turnover margin (3.94).

• Omaha went 0-2 last week, falling 75-54 at North Dakota and 94-39 at North Dakota State.
• Freshman Avril Smith is second in the nation in total rebounds (250) and ranks 16th nationally with 37 blocks this season.
• Sarai Estupiñan leads the league in assists (70) and ranks second in assists per game (3.7). Her 250 total points this season rank sixth in the Summit League.
• ORU leads the all-time series 19-3 and is currently on a nine-game winning streak.
• Head coach Jamie Carey is in her first season at the helm of the Mavericks after four years as the associate head coach at UTSA.
