Harper Scores Career-High 26 Points as #ORUMBB Drops Road Test to Jackrabbits

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Ty Harper recorded his second-straight career-high, scoring 26 points, as the Golden Eagles fell to the Jackrabbits on Saturday afternoon.

ORU had three players finish in double figures, led by Harper, who had 26 points, his eighth 20-point performance of the year. Cal Furnish tacked on a career-high 12 points off the bench while Luke Gray added 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Chase Martin also stuffed the stat sheet, racking up seven points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks.
 
The Jackrabbits came out red hot, shooting 24-37 (64.9%) from the field and 8-13 (61.5%) from beyond the arc in the first half. After holding a 58-39 at half, the Jackrabbits kept widening their lead, jumping out to a 60-39 lead before ORU went on a 9-0 run to shrink the deficit to 60-48 with 15:29 to play. SDSU bounced back and outscored the Golden Eagles the rest of the way, sealing the game 95-72.
