TULSA, Okla. – Setter Ava Ewald posted a career-high 20 assists as Oral Roberts Volleyball fell to North Dakota on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles are now 6-8 overall and will face South Dakota in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center on October 8th at 7 p.m.
The Golden Eagles pushed through the first set with six tied scores. Ewald recorded 10 assists to help ORU stay within reach, but the Golden Eagles ultimately fell short, 25-17. Oral Roberts started off the second set competitive before giving up the advantage to the Fighting Hawks to finish the set, 25-12. ORU kept pace early in the third set, as Libby Ryan recorded a kill to narrow in on UND 20-18. The Golden Eagles continued to compete but ultimately fell 25-20, finishing the game 3-0.
