TULSA, OKLA. – The Golden Eagles picked up their first Summit League win of the season, taking down the Kansas City Roos at the Mabee Center, 69-60.

ORU had four players finish in double figures, led by Connor Dow, who had 16 points and two steals. Ty Harper added 14 points and six rebounds while Luke Gray chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams also finished in double figures, tallying 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting.
 
After falling behind 11-6 early, ORU went on a 7-0 run with 14:23 left in the first half, culminating in a bucket from Yamanouchi-Williams, to take a 13-11 lead. The Golden Eagles surrendered that lead and entered halftime down 29-28. After the break, ORU managed to regain control, taking a 45-38 lead before going on a 7-0 run, capped by Yamanouchi-Williams' three-pointer. The Roos sparked a late run but the Golden Eagles cruised the rest of the way for the 69-60 victory.
